Yoga

Balance in all it’s forms.

It is physical balance, an awareness of how the body moves and how each of its parts are connected in a greater whole.

It is mental balance, an understanding of how the mind makes decisions and how clarity of thought can be achieved.

It is emotional balance, an appreciation for the happiness and sorrow of life, and how that appreciation can lead to a better knowledge of self.

It is spiritual balance, a sense of how our bodies and minds are interconnected with the world around us.

Yoga is for everyone, and every body.  No matter your current fitness level, yoga can help increase your connection to your body, which is the primary step in increasing physical health.  Doing yoga clears the mind, making the body feel light and uninhibited.  Just a few minutes of focused and mindful practice each day can provide extraordinary physical, spiritual and mental benefits.

And the benefits can be immediate.  A single session is often enough to feel an increased control of body and mind.  Yoga is the ‘gateway drug’ to fitness, the first step on the path to increased health and well-being.  Also, yoga can be a great way to meet other members of the community, and to find connections to the people around you.

Yoga is not for the flexible, but for the willing.DRYoga-18.jpg
